Hello September! A beautiful time of transition from summer to fall. A season for new beginnings, reflection, and those little cozy comforts that make life sweet. Even here in our warm city, we can feel it: that occasional breeze reminding us that change is in the air.
From January to August, life races by: school activities, family vacations, busy workdays. But September feels different. It’s that moment you pause, look around, and ask, “Where did the year go?” This is the month we bring out the pumpkin spice everything, sip on pumpkin spice lattes, and take it down a notch. Football is back, and as we root for our favorite teams, we also keep an eye out for Taylor Swift, who cheers on her fiancé.
Here in Miami Springs, September is extra special. You’ll see more neighbors walking their dogs, kids riding bikes, and families enjoying the Circle, as the weather provides a welcome respite. Fall may not officially be here yet, but it’s knocking at the door.
And even though we don’t see the leaves change or feel that crisp autumn breeze everyone talks about up north, we sure do have something just as magical, a community that feels a little like Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls). The charm of our town comes alive as the city prepares for fun events this month, with neighbors coming together to celebrate, connect, and create memories.
